Quick answers to common technical questions.

Standard products ship within 2-4 weeks. Custom configurations typically require 8-12 weeks depending on complexity. Contact our sales team for accurate lead times on your specific requirements.

Our motors support Modbus RTU, CANopen, and analog control interfaces. Custom protocols can be implemented for high-volume orders. Check individual datasheets for specific model capabilities.

All Smartricity motors come with a standard 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Extended warranty options up to 10 years are available for qualifying applications.

Yes — every customer receives access to our applications engineering team at no additional charge. We provide support for mechanical integration, electrical configuration, and system optimization.

Environmental ratings vary by product line. SolarPro gear motors are rated IP66 for outdoor tracker installations; GenPro generators are IP67 with marine-grade materials; WindPro pitch motors use marine-grade sealing for extreme and offshore conditions; and AgriPro smart pumps use chemical-resistant housings suited to nutrient-solution environments. Higher IP ratings up to IP68/IP69K are available on request for demanding applications. Operating temperature ranges span -40°C to +85°C depending on the product line — see individual datasheets for full environmental specifications.

Smartricity operates ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing facilities in six countries: USA (New York), Canada (Ontario), Italy (Bologna), Mexico (Mexico City), Thailand (Bangkok), and China. This distributed footprint lets us match production location to each customer's lead-time, cost, and regulatory needs.

Smartricity works with multiple motor architectures including Synchronous Reluctance, Switched Reluctance, Axial/Radial Flux, Brushed/Brushless DC, and AC Induction Motors. The optimal architecture is selected and tuned for each customer's specific application, duty cycle, and performance requirements.

Yes. Our New York facility enables Buy American and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance for U.S. projects, while our Canadian and Mexican operations support USMCA content requirements. Domestic-content documentation and serialized traceability are provided with every order.
